Lower Shippon provides guests with comfort and flexibility over 2 floors. This is an ideal option for couples or families with a child over 4 years of age. It’s perfect for those seeking to get away from it all, yet close enough to everything that Bude has to offer, including its shops eateries and many beaches.

Sleeps

Up to two adults. We can accommodate one child on a sofa bed, just let us know if you require this at time of booking.

Bedrooms

One king size bed, bedside tables and chest of drawers. Hair dryer provided. Bed linen is provided but please bring your own beach towels.

Bathrooms

One bathroom with shower, WC, wash basin.

​

Kitchen

Integrated oven with grill, 4 ring hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment. Please note there is no dishwasher in this property.

Living Area

Open plan kitchen, dining and living area with coffee table, sofa, dining table with 3 chairs, 42 inch flat screen smart television, Wi-Fi.

Landing Area

A perfect place to relax with a book in this cosy snug. Built in wardrobes for additional storage.​

​

Entrance Area

With coat hooks and cupboard containing washing machine, iron and ironing board.

​

Outdoor Area

Small grassed area at the front with picnic bench and large drive shared with Top Shippon. If you prefer exclusive use of the outdoor area, please let us know before booking and we will check if this is possible.

Parking

One parking space. We ask guests to exercise caution when entering or leaving by car as the cottage is located on a bend in the road. 

 

Pets

Sorry no pets are permitted in Lower Shippon, but up to 2 dogs are more than welcome next door in Top Shippon.

Surfers

Approximately 10 minutes drive from Summerleaze beach, Bude.

​

Walkers

10 Minutes drive from the South West Coast path.

​

Disability Access

The accommodation is over two floors with stairs.
